Hi Team!

Just wanted to say thanks to Makemytrip & Organization, especially to Sandeep (Tour leader)for a well managed trip to Agra (17th-19th Nov 2012).

As a tour manager, he made the trip memorable and informative. Not only did he prepare well on the history front but his oratory skills are exemplary, which I believe is a prerequisite to create curiosity amongst audience. And his voice modulation is also good as he has a habit of laying emphasis on particular words while speaking which leads to better understanding, not only for us but for foreigners as well.

Although people will say that it is a part of his job to make the things gel well, but it was his overall personality, approach and love for the job which made a difference.

It is always good to have such energetic and positive people around us.

The Ramayana The Ramayana , one of the great Sanskrit epic , helped to develop a more popular, devotional religion. A product of less exclusive world of the Kshtriya epic, it is not so heavily dominated by the brahmin - controlled sacrificial and ritual elements of Hinduism . It remains a popular source of religious teachings through public readings and dramatizations. The core of epic  was first composed in the 4th century BC as a secular tale recited by bards who were attendant on the royal courts. However as centuries passed the Lord Ram , its hero became transformed from warrior King into a warrior deity. By the 4th century AD, Lord Ram was widely identified as the seventh incarnation of the Hindu god, Vishnu. The Ramayan's link with Vedic religion are, however, still strong. Journey of Khajuraho.

I visited Temples of Khajuraho with my three friends recently. We left Agra at 7:00 am on 11 July 2015. Khajuraho is 412 kms away and it is around 7 hrs drive. If you do not take brake. But we reached Khajuraho at 5:30 pm. We took few breaks on the way for photography, bathing in rain and lunch. 30 minutes break for photography. 1 hrs break for bathing in rain. 1 hrs break for lunch at Yadav restaurant at Orcha cut after Jhansi, MP. My friend Kishan has I 20 car. No doubt it is a fabulous car. This long ride was in itself was very interesting. I never wanted to end this journey. First time I realized the importance of the lines "Life is not about reaching destination, its about enjoying the journey". I really enjoyed the journey of Khajuraho. Journey of Khajuraho.   On the way after leaving Agra, I saw only green agriculture lands on left and right. Lots of greenery everywhere. Temperature  was about 23 only.
