International Yoga day



Now a days people are talking a lot about yoga. 21st June is announced as International Yoga day. Why Yoga is important in our life ? How it makes our life simple ? Why all Indian yogis keep saying by yoga you can find GOD. is it true ? Lets find out.

Last year in November 2014, I was leading a Golden triangle tour (7 days) and I was asked to conduct 64 minutes yoga session every day before sightseeing. There were eight tourist from USA in my group.

64 minutes session -

5 minutes -   Om Chanting
20 minutes - Micro exercises
                     Physic Union Pose
                     Hare pose
                     Cobra pose
                     Wheel pose
                     Forward bend yogic pose
                     Shoulder stand pose
                     Fish pose

24 minutes   Pranayam
15 minutes   Meditation

All these guests were corporate executives from USA. They were busy in their life and they were paying the cost of living american dream. At the age of 36 they were suffering from diseases like hyper tension, depression, aggression,  violence.  These diseases are caused due to life style stress. These are called life style diseases.

Yoga is very beneficial to cure all these diseases.


International Yoga day


It is a different world of Yoga lovers. we all are joining This yog world on 21st June 2015. This ten thousand yrs old tradition of living healthy in life.
Please come closer to it, health, energy, enthusiasm, will be standing at your doorstep.

In Yog science there are so many easy ways which can be used in daily life. These changes will bring positive change in your life.


Your clothes - 

Use organic food and organic clothes. Use raw silk or cotton clothes for one week. Even use undergarments of these clothes.
Then use synthetic clothes for other week. You will find changes in your emotional and comfort level.


Your Voice -  

Right food, right thinking and emotions can be used to cure your body. Speaking right word and listening to right sounds are also important.


Your Namaskar - 
Namaste pose - Indian greeting

When you bring your two palms together, it generates an energy which you pass to others too. These are two words namas + te = Namaste 
The meaning of two sankrit words are 
Namas = forehead 
Te         = The God

So Namaste means I bow my head in front of the God which is within you or I bow to the divine in you. 
In Hinduism there is one core philosophy that each individual is God's particle. 


Your Temple -

 In India, there was no tradition of prayers. In Indian temple, no body stands and asks you to pray unlike Christianity and Islam. Temples were place of meditation. To accumulate the human bioelectricity. Ancient temples were built at a place which had highest magnetic and electric waves.  Sit cross legged, meditate, filled with energy and go to your work.


Your Lamp -   
Erthern lamps

Light is very important for us. This is also part of tradition to make good environment nearby. Light an erthern lamp, use cluttered butter(ghee) and cotton under it. and feel the difference.
