LAND ACQUISITION BILL

LAND ACQUISITION BILL –  A BOON FOR INDIAN ECONOMY WHICH HAS BEEN KILLED BY CONGRESS

Before I tell you about this bill let me clear few facts about India. According to the records of the World Bank India’s 60% land is good for agriculture which proves there is no scarcity of land for agriculture in India. India has more agriculture land than China. But still China grows more wheat and Rice than India.

In China Land acquisition is very simple and clear. It is communist government so nobody can go against government. Government takes land for industries. But in India it is very tough issue, Government wants land for developing industries. But political leaders start a movement by misleading farmers against government.

If India wants to be in the race of global development then she will have to develop many industries. And she will have to reduce the load of development from the agriculture. No doubt agriculture is the backbone of India’s development and economy. But to give better lifestyle to people industrial development is important.

With out the land acquisition how come our government will complete the projects of infrastructure and road development? Day by day our country is lacking behind in infrastructure and population is growing. So land acquisition must be quick and speedy.

When a government acquires land from farmers, farmers expect three things from government -

1 - Job for one family member
2 – Appropriate rate of land
3 - Payment within time

Where ever we have seen movement of farmer’s against land acquisition. The reason was among one of them which was failure of state government. And corrupt bureaucratic officers exploit these farmers.

The parties like Congress should help Indian government to catch corrupt officers instead of misleading farmers.
