What to see in India

There are very easy itineraries in India. But do not think of covering all in one single journey.
My suggestion would be to cover only two and three states in one single journey of India
An American traveler might speed up from city to village. Each city and village is different than other. Each city will boost you to see next and fill you with anxiety about what is next?

American tourist mostly travels to India to see Golden triangle circuit of north India. In this circuit tourist can enjoy Architecture, Forts and palaces, Elephant ride, Cuisine and Culture.

This Golden triangle tour includes two cities and one state of India.
Delhi - the Rome of India
Agra - City of Tajmahal
JaipurLand of King

Deserts of Rjasthan

Rajasthan state also offers desert sightseeing, large and gigantic medieval Forts and Palaces of Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur & Bundi.

Varanasi

Another favorite location of American tourists is Holy city “Varanasi” on the bank of river Ganges. This holy city of India is also called Banaras. This is an ancient city of world. Here you will enjoy waterfront ghats (bathing places). You will get a chance to learn the roots of oldest religion Hinduism. This holy city will enlighten you with theory of reincarnation & rituals of religious traditions can bee seen here.

Kolkatta

If you will travel further east, you will witness the great city Kolkata (Calcutta), the early capital of British Raj; this is a mega city and capital of West Bengal. In early time this was divided in two areas: white town for British and black town for Indians.

Most of the American travelers visit Nepal after seeing above cities of India, they are not aware that Himalayas of India offer better natural features of landscape, especially when picturesque.
In Himalaya landscapes major tourist attractions are Srinagar, capital of Kashmir, Ladakh with highly situated monasteries and blue surroundings, Dharmashala and Manali in Himachal Pradesh.

Indian sightseeing is great blend of great outdoors and spirituality. Cuisine of every state is mouth watering and different than others. In this second most populated Indian subcontinent, you can expect fantastic wildlife sanctuaries too. This Indian subcontinent is an addiction for travelers from west.

Goa

After visit of east of India, Travelers can not skip Kerala in South India. Further comes the Goa and then the city of Bollywood, Mumbai.
