Is it safe to travel in India during elections? 

This question has been asked by foreign travelers a lot. World media has shown about riots, fights and curfews during India elections, so travelers has negative image while traveling to India during elections. These riots used to happen that too in remote villages. Cities were always safe and still they are.

Traveling in India during elections is 100% safe. Tourist cities like Agra, Delhi, and Jaipur are safe at any time in India.

Today India has developed an effective system which makes elections in India peaceful. And major tourist attractions like Tajmahal, Amer fort, Qutub Minar are always in safe zone.

Now a day state elections are going on in Uttar Pradesh (U.P). This is a state which has largest number of seats in state assembly due to its largest population among all states of India. The population of U.P is 204 million.

Two parties are in neck fight. One is BJP and second one is Samajwadi party. It is very hard to say who will win.

BJP has a very clean image of his ministers and promoting the agenda of development. On the other hand Samajvadi party has ministers with criminal background and also minister’s relatives have become ultra rich in last fifteen years.

This state has community, caste and religion based politics. In last fifteen years, the condition of state has become poor in every sense. Regional parties like BSP and Samajvadi party have ruled this state turn by turn for last fifteen years. Still commoners are blind and can not see how these regional parties have looted the state and have no long term vision.

Muslim population hates BJP because of their theory of Hindu nation. So to stop BJP they vote for any other party without thinking that overpopulation, crime, corruption is worst than theories like Hindu nation. In today’s democratic India such Hindu nation theory can not be implemented. This is a fool’s theory to take the votes of orthodox Hindus.

No doubt Mr. Modi has a very clean image and if topmost leader is honest then he has the power to create corruption free India because he himself is honest. The policies of Mr Modi are fruitful in long term for India. But orthodox Muslims do not love him because they do not think beyond religion based politics.












In western UP Muslims play a major role in politics.


So hope for the best lets see who will win in the UP. So if you are traveling in India during any elections than do not worry at all, all tourist sectors in northern India are safe.

Journey of Khajuraho.

I visited Temples of Khajuraho with my three friends recently. We left Agra at 7:00 am on 11 July 2015. Khajuraho is 412 kms away and it is around 7 hrs drive. If you do not take brake. But we reached Khajuraho at 5:30 pm. We took few breaks on the way for photography, bathing in rain and lunch. 30 minutes break for photography. 1 hrs break for bathing in rain. 1 hrs break for lunch at Yadav restaurant at Orcha cut after Jhansi, MP. My friend Kishan has I 20 car. No doubt it is a fabulous car. This long ride was in itself was very interesting. I never wanted to end this journey. First time I realized the importance of the lines "Life is not about reaching destination, its about enjoying the journey". I really enjoyed the journey of Khajuraho.
