The meaning of worship is "sit near"

Any individual celestial power in which you have faith, sit near to him/her like Lord jesus, Lord Buddha, Lord shiva , Goddess shakti

Worship is of many types -
Prayers, ceremony, fire ritual, yoga

God does not become happy by our worship,
God is out of the boundry of these emotions ,
Worship awakens the dormant energy within us,
Worship awakens  our thoughts and these concentrated thoughts are organised & used for life practice(jeevan sadhana).

उपासना

उपासना का अर्थ होता है, "समीप बैठना"

जिस भी शक्ती मै आपका विशवास है, उसके  समीप बैठे,
उपासना कई पत्रकार की होती है,
प्रार्थना, कर्म कांड, यज्ञ, योग

इनसे ईशवर खुश नही होते, ईशवर इन भावनाओ से परे है,
उपासना से इंसान के विचार जाग्रत और एकाग्र होते है ,
और एकाग्र विचारो को जीवन साधना मे लगाया जाता है
