73,000 years ago

First human arrived on #Indian continent, occupation – Hunter and Gatherer 


10,000 years ago 

 Agriculture started, Food surplus, Yoga invention by ADIYOGI SHIVA, different sects of religion came into existence like Nature, animal, spirit worship, fire sacrifice and devotion. The   name of India was Jambudwip 

7000 years ago 
God King Ram’s birth, formation of Society, Culture, Traditions and Religion Sanatan Dharma started taking formal shape, Oral teachings of #Veda (First Hindu Holy Scripture) started in gurukul (schools). India’s name was Bharat-khand

5000 years ago – Indus valley civilization, 
It was urban civilization three times bigger than Sumerian (Iran) and Mesopotamia (Iraq). India was exporting gems, animal hides and fabrics. Indian Hindus used numbers for trade and commerce. Language -Devnagari script (writing system of language Sanskrit). 

3800 years ago (1700 bce) – Vedic Civilization
First religious book of Hindus was written on birch bark. Different sects were united by seven sages of India and formed religion Sanatan Dharma (Modern name Hinduism). God king Krishna’s birth. He verbally gave the lesson of #Bhagvad Geeta (Song of Lord). 

2900 years before (800 bce)
UPNISHAD’s were written (summery of Sanskrit hymns of Ved); these are also foundation books of Hinduism. These spiritual books throw light on metaphysics, atoms, philosophy, Yoga and individualism.
Puranas (Indian Literature) were written about legends and traditional lore 
First Olympiad started in Greece (776 bce)
Rome was founded in Italian peninsula on the Tiber River (753 bce)
Stone palace Architecture started by Hindu king in India which influenced 15th & 16th century #Forts & Palaces of Muslims and #Mughals of India.                                                     
 Cast became endogamy from open ended system.                                                                       
Religious laws imposed by few priests of society which started suffocating the commoners. 
Taxila University was opened by an unknown Hindu King which had 10,500 students. They taught 16 subjects E.g. mathematics, astronomy, astrology, architecture, dance & music, medicine etc. When Alexander invaded India in (326 bce), he bought many scholars of different subjects from this university.                         

2663 years ago (563 bce) 
Lord Buddha was born in Nepal. Confucius was 13 years younger than Buddha in China. Socrates was born 13 years after the death of Lord Buddha in Greece. Lord Buddha learnt Yoga for six years by two teachers in India. 
Indian Hindu grammarian PANINI started using letters of alphabets to represent numbers  

2363 years before (268 bce) – 

Ashoka, Hindu king ruled all over India. This time population was 15 million people. He later converted to Buddhism and his children spread this religion in South East Asia. The name of India was BHARAT-VARSH. 
Kalari – Indian martila arts was founded (2nd bce)    
Plasic surgery was performed by Indian Hindu physician Sushruta. (4rth bce). 
Father of Indian medicine Charak started started Hospital and school of Ayurveda (5th bce) 

1ST CEN (Last century BC) 

Birth of Lord Christ, Roman republic ended and turned into Roman Empire, The first dome was built by Romans, Hindu Shunga Empire in India, Decimal system, Binary numeral system and Arithmetic were developed in India 

4rth cen – 

Indic miracle (Golden age) was at peak – much mathematical, social and cultural development reached its zenith. This was great time of mathematical, astronomical, architectural and medicinal discoveries during Hindu Gupta Empire of India. Knowledge seekers of world used to travel to India for learning under Indic Scholars of mathematics, architect, astronomy, Music & Dance and Philosophy. 
This Indic religion and empire was progressive. 
Kamsutra (science of sex) was written down; First Iron pillar was installed in Delhi, India.  Nalanda University was opened, 
Theory of Gravitation by Bhaskarar Charya, He calculated time taken by earth to orbit the sun , He founded derivatives & calculus , multiplications. 
Bhudhayan calculated value of ‘pi’   and also explained pythagorus theorem. 
Aryabhatt formulated the Trignometry (5 Ad)                                                
Bhramgupta Invented ‘0’ zero                                                                                                     
Aryabhatta, Latadev, Bhramgupta and Varahmira calculated the timing of eclipse, Earth axis. Calendar was discovered , discovery of measurement , 7 days , months and years          The Game Chess was invented in India                                                                                                                                    
On the other hand Constantine became the first Roman emperor to adopt Christianity. 
Note – Indic religion are Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism (Youngest Indic religion formed in 15th AD)

12th Cen – 

Religious crusade from Afghanistan tribal chiefs defeated last Hindu ruler of Delhi, #India/Bharat. 
Islamic colonization started, Hoysala architecture (Hindu Temples) was at peak in India, Gothic architecture started in France, 
Gelaty Christian Monastery was commissioned in Georgia, 
Angkorwat (#largest Hindu temple) was built in Cambodia, 
Quadric equation was discovered by Sridhar Acharya in the 11th century, 
#First Hindu temple which was made of Granite (10th cen), 
Snakes & ladders was invented in India (13th cen) 

#Indic temples were institutions for running schools, hospitals, banks and charities. Food, Medicine and education were given free to society from Indic temple institution. Indic temple institution was replaced by radical institutions. Religious crusade break the Indic educational system that had developed over the centuries. This spread illiteracy in India for next 800 years among commoners. Construction of new Indic temples and maintenance of old Indic temples was banned. Development in all these areas stopped for next 800 years in India. This period of history is main cause of intense #Hindu-Muslim relations. Partition of Pakistan and Bangladesh from India is outcome of this era’s radical institutions                                                                    


14th Cen (1398) 

Timur (Tamerlane) invaded India, this was a holy war against infidels. This attack damaged #India drastically.
India got divided among 565 states of different Feudal lords who were from different religion & cast. These feudal lords did not revive the ancient Indic education system. India was not united anymore. They fought with each other due to jealousy, land dispute and women abduction. This feudal system increased patriarchy. Feudal lords did not want to educate women and commoners unlike ancient Indic Religion & Empire. Position of women and commoners dipped as second class citizen. 

15th Cen (1401 to 1500) – 


Christopher Columbus reached America mistakenly while searching for #India                        
Spanish occupation destroyed the Aztecs and Inca empires of America. 
European miracle started – many technical, social and cultural development started,              

Johannes Gutenberg (1439) invented printing press,                                                                  Vasco de Gama reached India for spice trade;                                                                            Banking and accounting were founded in Italy,
Leonardo the Vinci, Michael Angelo and Copernicus were creating the world of Art and Science. New religion Sikhism was founded in India 


In this era, #India was the first world; European traders were looking for India’s wealth. Indian feudal lords were super rich. Each feudal lord had more money than British Empire due to proto industrialization. India had no unemployment and beggars. Money was flowing    in India but mass literacy stopped in India due to radical Afghani tribal lords. Hindu feudal lords also copied the pattern of not educating the women and commoners. In Europe the printing press invention spread mass literacy. 

16th Cen –

Mughal (Moghul) warrior-chief ‘Babur’ invaded India with canons and concept of Holy war against infidels. This was Gunpowder Empire. Mughal descendants centralized India and India became the biggest global economy and manufacturing power in the world. 

Aztecs and Incas (two leading civilization of America) ended due to Spanish adventurers,      William Shakespeare (1564) was born in England;                                                                     First African slave was taken to America,

17th Cen 


British America (1607 to 1783),                                                                                                             
Scientific revolution in Europe,                                                                                                            
Grand theory of Isaac newton,                                                                                                               
Europe’s first public company and mega corporation formed ‘Dutch East India Company’,                                                       
Abo University is opened in Finland(1640),                                                                                                  
Harward University is founded in Cambridge, Massachusetts(1636)                                                                       
#Tajmahal (Monument of love) was commissioned by Indian Emperor Shahjahan in India(1631-1643),                                       
Liberalism started in Europe  
India was contributing 25% of Global GDP. India was biggest global economy & manufacturing power (proto industrialization). This wealth was shared and enjoyed by 565 (approx.) royal families of Hindu, Muslim, Mughals and other Royal clans only. Commoners lived at subsistence level, fulfilled basic needs like food, cloth and house. There was no unemployment and beggar in India.                                     
Mass literacy like Europe was not promoted by feudal kings of India. Each feudal king was richer than British Empire. All this money was spent on luxury Forts & Palaces of royal families instead of promoting education, healthcare and infrastructure for commoners. It increased illiteracy in India. 


18th Cen

‘Robert Clive’ a British agent won battle of Plassey(1757) in India/Bharat,                                                           
American revolution war was about to start (1775 to 1783),                                                                             
Galileo Galilei’s theory of heliocentric was removed and banned by Roman catholic church,                                       
Rigshospital, National hospital of Denmark is funded at Copenhagen,                                                                     
First industrial revolution began in Britain(1760 to 1820)
Hold of British East India Company in local bureaucracy of feudalism took India into poverty. They used theory ‘Drain of wealth’. Industrial revolution of England was backed by colonies in India, North America, and the Caribbean. Feudalism is cause of income and lifestyle inequality of commoners.

19th Cen –  
Second industrial revolution lead to massive urbanization in Great Britain,                                                            
Indian rebellion of 1857,                                                                                                                   
#British Raj started in India,                                                                                                               
#wami Vivekananda introduced Yoga Vedanta Philosophy in Chicago, America 1893,                                                              
First functional light bulb, telephone call, railroad appeared,                                                                     
When industrial revolution spread in continental Europe, North America and Japan, India was kept in dark by British Raj and Feudal lords. Money & resources were continuously exploited for industrial revolution of Great Britain. Feudalism continued along with British Raj,       Middle class was created by colonial masters in Calcutta, Bombay, Madras, British opened modern universities, English medium schools, Railways 

20th Cen -   
Spanish flu pandemic, World War I and II, British government moved capital from Calcutta to Delhi, Mahatma Gandhi returns to India (1915),  Independence of India 1947,                                  
Liberalization started in India 1992,       
                                                                                                
Three major problems of India –                                                                                                             
1 Over population (poverty, unemployment and uncleanness are byproducts of Overpopulation),                                                 
2 Corrupt Politics & Bureaucracy                                                                                                            
3 Radical ideology (Due to lack of mass literacy)
