Three India

India(Bharat) is a large sub-continent which is called country. There are 28 states and 8 union territories in India (36 entities). So it’s not wrong to call it United States of India.  HinduDharma is the religion which is common among all these states otherwise their culture and language is different. 80 % follow Hindu dharma, 16 % follow Islam and rest 4% includes Buddhism, Jainism, Christianity and Sikhism. Population is 1.3 billion (approx.)

When a foreign traveler travels to India  he or she comes across three types of India in everyone state. Corporate India, Government India and Poor India, it is not hard to observe these three types of living standard in every state of India.

This adds lots of contrast in Indian lifestyle and leaves an unguided traveler into a confused state about who is who and why?

Corporate India means an area of the city where Indian & Foreign corporates have invested money to make more money. People from villages and small town rushes towards these corporate jobs. In these corporate areas culture of people is cosmopolitan. Their life revolves around consumerism and they don't follow their traditions of the family , cast and village. They do highly skilled job and spend their evenings and weekends in entertainment. They have high standard of living and high problem of depression, anxiety and obesity. 

Government India is the area of the city where Govt. of India runs administration for the people. Here people still follow their traditions of religion, cast and village but with modification according to their comfort. Public facilities provided by Government of India are poor but people have large houses with all high tech equipment's. They wear traditional dress and follow traditions only on occasions. They spend huge money on marriage parties and nothing on social service. They save lots of money for their children education and marriage. 

Poor India is the area of the city  where Govt. claims to run administration but does nothing. 20% of my population is below poverty line. S here I am talking about 200 million people. 

Village India , this is 70% of the India. This is agriculture based economy. People still follow the traditions of their religion, cast and family. 
 

Why there is so much change in the situation of the people living in these four  areas of an Indian State?

 This happens due to inflow of money and poor administration by the government civil servant.  State area which has corporate involvement there life is peaceful and development is fast.

State area where Govt runs the administration the life is full of struggle without money and development is slow and too much corruption is there in public departments like police station, judiciary and civil administration offices. 

State area where suppressed people and poor people live, no public servant and politician go for development. The life is full of struggle in this area. These people are on their own for food, education, house, infrastructure, security and justice.

 

How does this all happen?

World Bank and Capitalist lobbies issue loans to developing nations like India for development. And foreign corporates enter into India to use the natural resources of India for production of the products and selling in the Indian market and other countries. These corporates also have very much influence on the government policies. So government policies are made to make these corporates happy not people of India.

City development is the model of development in the eyes of World Bank. This is 10% area of the state. This model generates employment for middle class. Large and clean road, skyscrapers, electricity everything is managed by private money.  It gives money in the hands of middle class people too in form of salaries. It increases the living standard through job and consumerism. This economic progression through corporate suppresses social evils like caste, radical ideology, women right suppression, dowry, patriarch male dominance etc.

It is same like 1757 when East India Company from London started doing business in India. They drained the wealth of India for the Industrialization of United kingdom and India went into poverty. It created a strong and small middle class and large number of poor Indians.  So this Corporate India is good for millions and bad billions.  

Poor and lower middle class India has no representation in Corporate India because they have no skill to sell to corporates. The corporate destroys the local market of artisans and small businessmen. Local business is eaten up by large companies. It increases unemployment in general.

70% area of the state is administrated by Government of India. Locals do business with each other.  Larger population is based on agriculture. Government officials behave like GOD in this area.       To do their daily job they demand money (bribe) from locals.  An individual who has money lives a peaceful and comfortable life. Government officials do not work in favor of locals without money. Public road, public water, public electricity does not perform effectively for 20, 30 years.

20% area of the state is poor India where no public servant and politician visit.

But situation is changing fast , the current government is strict against corruption and focusing on the needs of everyone. Things will be better in next 10 t0 20 years. I personally observing the change in the attitude of civil servants and local people  about the bright future of India.
